We currently collect and process the following information (if you have registered on our volunteer database, practitioner directory or subscribe to our newsletter):
- Volunteer database – name, email address, phone number, area of expertise, skills and further information provided by you.
- Practitioner directory – name, email address, phone number, area of expertise, education establishment, qualifications (and documents relating), regulatory bodies (if applicable).
- Subscription – email address.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
Via our volunteer database, practitioner directory and newsletter subscription.
We use the information that you have given us in order to:
- Contact you about volunteer roles that may be of interest.
- Add your details to our practitioner directory for potential clients to view.
- Inform you about any updates from PHA via our newsletter.
How we use your personal information
The People’s Health Alliance Gloucestershire does not disclose, give, sell or transfer any personal information about our visitors, without prior consent or unless required for law enforcement of statute.
When you visit our website, we won’t collect any information about you, unless you choose to provide us with that information for the volunteer database, practitioner directory or subscribe to our newsletter.
If you do decide to provide us with any information pertaining to yourself through email, application forms, surveys etc, we will only maintain that information as long as is required to respond back to you or to fulfil the stated purpose of the communication.
Stripe.com (who manage our donations) guarantees the security of the credit card provided by donors. We do not store your credit card number. Only stripe.com does so. We only store a Stripe customer ID number. We do not sell or provide your personally identifiable information to any third party, except stripe.com and our web hosting provider, who facilitates transactions and other web services.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored with our service provider on our website. We will never hold your information anywhere else.
We keep your information for as long as you are happy to share it with us. We will then delete your information when you no longer wish to share it with us.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
